A Spiritual Journey Through the Tarot -- CLASS DATES are 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, and 11/3

Melanie Marchman will take you on a journey through the Tarot. Not only to connect with Tarot as a divination tool, but also the journey of the higher self as in the fool’s journey through the Major Arcana and the psyche's journey through the Minor Arcana.

This is a beginners level class created for you to learn the meanings of the cards, some quick references, and techniques to aid in remembering and connecting to the cards easily. Please bring a notebook and your favorite deck loosely based on the Ryder Waite template. If you have any questions please come in or ask us.

In our first session, Melanie will give a brief introduction to the major and minor arcana and ties to their journeys and elements. We will then begin to learn the fool’s Journey and the meanings of each card in the Major arcana.

In our second session, we will continue with what remains of the Major arcana with the meanings of each card and quick references for study guides.

In our third session, we will begin the minor arcana starting with wands and cups - the meanings, elemental connections, and quick references as suits and as individual cards.

In our fourth session, we will go over swords and pentacles -the meanings, elemental connections, and quick references for each individual card. If there’s time left we will practice reading some of the cards and working on our Tarot journals.

Homework will consist of single card pulls asking what the universe needs us to know and interpreting our pull.
