About the Event
The circle, a universal symbol of unity, wholeness, and eternity, is the perfect vessel for the act of communal singing. Within its unbroken shape, every individual's voice is heard and valued, fostering a sense of equality and inclusion. The circle symbolizes the interconnectedness of all participants, reminding us that we are part of something greater than ourselves. Sacred circles often serve as spaces for spiritual exploration and expression. Singing together can be a form of meditation, allowing individuals to transcend the worries of daily life and connect with their inner selves. The act of singing can become a conduit for prayer, meditation, or simply a way to connect with a higher power, regardless of one's religious background.
Singing in a sacred circle often taps into energies that go beyond the mundane. The combination of collective intention, synchronized breathing, and harmonious tones creates an atmosphere of resonance, both within the group and within each individual. This resonance can be likened to the vibrations that form the universe, connecting participants with a sense of cosmic unity.Â
During this time together, Jill will teach sacred chants and earth-based simple songs to connect us through the grace of sharing our voices.Â
We ask that those that attend be aged 13 or older.
Donations will be gladly and graciously accepted to support the ongoing sustainability of Equinox Studio.
