Springtime always makes us believe in magic. As you start getting outside, you will see there are trees, beautiful as the branches and buds just forming. Bits of green popping its tops from the ground. Take a moment and close your eyes. Take a breath. Look closely as the smallest parts of the tree, the buds, the ground below, the sky above. You will start to see the magic.
Notice the little red buds on the branch tips, the spiral heads emerging from the ground. It’s in these small moments, in the blink of the eye, that the magic happens. One day nothing, the next leaves spiral into ferns, small seeds emerge into plants.
Life and growth is becoming. With the return of the sun and rain, the earth turns green again as it awakes. As you awake from the slumber of winter’s cold. The earth becomes, you become. This is the magic of nature.
